Very interesting effect.
Fog for non-tramplers. Should provide some fun in the right deck.
Possibly the first card that makes trample useful on 1/1 creatures like Llanowar Elite.

Stonebrow, Krosan Hero just got his custom made fog effect. I adore the shade of green that's clinging to the non-trampling red-head in the foreground.

I think the value of this is not am I going to stop my opponents creatures, but that you can attack with abandon with anything that has trample, and that drop this and all my opponents creatures dies while mine survives. Bramblewood paragon for example would be an optimal choice to help with it.

Dude, this card is soooo under the radar and is amazing. You can either build creatures into the deck around it, or combine it with the likes of Garruk Wildspeaker to completely wreck someone's defense.

I just realized that all normal Fog effects allow first strikers to deal their damage if the caster so chooses. It is therefore interesting that this card gives a similar option, but for a different keyword.

In Limited 4/5
In Constructed 2/5

If you use this to create combos in constructed then you are trying too hard.

This card is total trash, especially when you use it with cards like Primal Rage.

Why would you use this rather than Fog again?

Protects your tokens from non-green infecters and most green ones too. You can Overrun (or Garruk) and swing in and know your smaller creatures won't return to die with -1/-1 counters at end of turn. Even better WITH infect (Triumph of the Hordes) as their blockers get smaller while not killing your attackers, so if you don't kill them, the return swing on their turn will be MUCH smaller.

Of course, you shouldn't be swinging with an Overrun without going for the kill shot. But this could give you a reason to swing early and play on your opponent's expectation that you just screwed up. "Surprise! all your blockers don't deal damage! Good luck surviving my swing next turn."

I agree with Cheza, it should have been a tribal instant... BEAST Tribal. Then we can have Beast Harbinger :)

Pleasantly surprised to not find the comments filled with dirty innuendos

I've seen enough hentai to know her hair color may very well be natural.

Moonmist for a trample deck. Except you know, moonmist also acts like an overrun.

Awesome tech for use alongside Primal Rage, where it basically becomes "This turn, only your creatures deal combat damage and only your opponents creatures receive combat damage".
Considering both have 2 CMC it's a totally viable move in an early match.

Sure it's not hex-proof, but in Mono Green it's still pretty darn good and can be used defensively as well as offensively, particularly helpful when you're in a jam and can't afford to lose your recluse to Master of Cruelties because you'll need it again to block Rakdos next turn.
