This guy is a bomb. My fourth turn i play Gloryscale Viashino and waited. Next turn i play TWO Colossal Might on this guy and it got out of control. It became a 17/13 with Trample. You guys should of seen my opponent face. Chaos Agony Pain and Hopelessness as he toke 17 hits and dying shortly after.

If my opponent plays a collosal might targeting the viashino, and i counter the might, does the viashino still get +3/+3 via its ability? or is it only wen the might resolves that the viashinos ability will be put on the stack?

I play this guy in a GRW deck as the centerpiece. I play this guy turn three with a Trace of Abundance. Next turn I play a land then slap a Spirit Link on him then hit him with Colossal Might and then a Double Cleave. Let me tell you the look on your opponent's face when you swing with a 13/9 Double Strike Trample Lifelink is GREAT! Not to mention the 26 life you gain on turn 4

Huh. An actual playable Viashino. Hallelujah. It's like that time in Rise of the Eldrazi when Wizards finally gave us a playable Minotaur creature.
This is like a Kiln Fiend on steroids. And cascade makes it a Kiln Fiend on steroids on even more steroids.

I remember going against this in a triple Alara Reborn draft. In a format where every single spell is multicolor he will destroy you. He destroyed me anyway :(

My main problem with this guy is the manacost. You're going to need either a lot of land search or a lot of hybrid lands to support a 3-color deck. If you've got the dual lands to support it, then this card is awesome, however this card starts losing power when you're running a lot of green (mono colored) land search.

I have this one deck that focuses on multicolored cards, and this guy is BEAST in it. Violent Outburst cascading into Collosal Might, resulting in a 14/11 Viashino? Yes, please! This card may not be the best for competitive play, but in casual decks, he can dominate the battlefield, especially if you give him some sort of protection, like Squee's Embrace.

Of course it's no kiln fiend, but this is darn better than just 3/5, it can get gigantic fairily quickly. Besides the goodies others mentioned, shield of the oversoul or Runes of the Deus can make it rather impressive

Don't compare this to Kiln Fiend. This goes in a completely different deck, as it works better with creatures and auras than Kiln Fiend does, while that card works better with instants and sorceries than this card does.
Gloryscale Viashino may not be the best card ever, but what matters is that it has its own niche in the game. I think that people should rate it based on how it performs in that niche.
