If you play this guy on turn three with Clout of the Dominus, its a 5/4 haste, shroud, deathtouch, powerhouse. Insane.

turn one, put out a Mistvein Borderpost (or equivalent) and turn two you can put out a 3/2 deathtouch. Not bad in my books

Such a big, heavy sword would surely make his rotting arm fall off!

Guys... guys.. you're overthinking him just a little... Unless you want to make INSANE power. Then you run Glen Elandra Liege, Ashenmoor Liege, and Mindwrack Liege. Turn 6, you have a 9/8 Death touch creature. Throw on the Magefire Wings on turn three to start, and you THEN have an 11/8 Flying Deathtouch.

Equip him with Fists of the Demigod and he's a 5/4 with first-strike, wither, and deathtouch. However having deathtouch AND wither seems rather redundant, unless he's up against creatures with indestructible or protection. But you can't beat having deathtouch and first-strike!

clout of the dominus and your opponent cryes

Agreed! I threw this in my esper zombie deck with clout of the dominus and if my opponents tapped out on T3 when I drop this+clout it's a massive blow, short of enchantment removals this guy is unstoppable at that stage of the game.

You can't really ask for more than having a cheap creature get deathtouch. It's also nice that it's 3 power so it can swing for good damage.

I like the clout of the dominus idea a lot. Better than fists of the demigod.

Even here no one realizes his potential? Seriously, just look for combos in his own set. Unscythe triggers his deathtouch and makes him a zombie factory. Put 4 Grimblades and a few Death Barons to have an endless supply of death-touching zombies to equip your Unscythe to.

Can be tricky to keep him around without first strike but this badboy is the other half of one of my favorite combos in all of magic. Drop this guy turn 2, then hit him with Magefire Wings and on turn 3 you're attacking with a 5/2 Flying Deathtough Creature. Brilliant.

Run him with Shambling Remains, Terminate, and Death Baron, all in the same set!

@DrakeKXI
I can one up you - by equipping a Lashwrith to my Toxic Nim I was once able to get the thing up to a 13/10 with regenerate and infect.

If you don't block that it will kill you in one turn because of the poison counter rule.

That was nearly as fun as the time i did that to my Daggerdrome Imp and slapped on a Strands of Undeath just for kicks; this thing became a 10/10 with flying, regenerate, and lifelink.

This guy is great! I use him in my {U, B, R} Nekusar, the Mindrazer
commander deck. I rate this 3.5/5!
