Plated geopede and colossal might, play geopede turn 2, play land, then colossal might on turn 3 and you have a 7/5 first strike and trample. Any double striker and this card is absolutely nuts, a boros swiftblade turns into a 5/4 who does 10 damage on turn 3. A warren instigator becomes 5/3, does 10 damage, and puts two goblins into play.
*blinks* WOW for 2 mana that is certainly an awesome upgrade

Unfortunately, if Bloodbraid Elf cascades into this, it will resolve before the elf does, so you'll only be able to use it if you have another creature out.

This card is amazing. It has won me many games. "Oh, you chump blocked my Thoctar with a 1/1? Look, now it's 9/6 and has trample!"
With infect in the metagame, this card can REALLY screw you over.
However, you'd most likely be running BRG to get to that point, so it'd be a little tough.

Alright, let's say you have a creature out that you're attacking with. Or several. After the declare blockers step, slap this sucker on someone, as well with Double Cleave and watch your opponent weep.

you will turn a 1/1 into a 5/3 trampler for 2 mana, and that's if it starts as a 1/1.
the best responce to this card is to blast the creature before the boost resolves, but if you can't your in a world of hurt...
