Each time I have used this card in my burn deck (against a counter heavy blue deck where I assumed it would do well) My opponent counters my counter of his counter so...counterproductive? I have yet to try it in a creature heavy green deck.

I wish it was just a counter target blue spell, but this does allow you to stop counterspells in both green and red. And that's probably all you REALLY need to counter anyway. Also, you might find an esoteric use for it, more of a sideboard card IMO, but I see it's value.

Should have been better, I like that it also hits a lot of annoying blue bounce, but I wish it had a secondary effect or something incase they're not playing blue. Split Second would have also been really useful.

I love that the anti-counter is called "Guttural Response." You cast a spell, he counters it, and you just shout "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUNGH!" And you win.

Hmmm... to be all honest xD It's better to run Pyroblast since it does even more for one mana... though! If you ARE more green than red. and single red mana is difficult to get... then run this. But with Pyroblast, you are REALLY humping the blue players in the face...

Normally I prefer Summoning Trap in Mono-Green Stompy, and Vexing Shusher is usually more relevant in any applicable archetype, but I can't help fall in love with this card regardless. It's such a gigantic middle-finger to the most conspicuously unbalanced aspect of Magic.

I enjoy how this card counters all those pesky {U} counterspells, but additionally it can counter a ton of other {U} spells. Don't like that mill deck? Take that Archive Trap...also counters awesome {U} utility spells like Brainstorm, Cryptic Command and Commandeer. My favourite though was having a {U} mage tapped out and cast Force of Will...only to have it countered.

Actually, for a modal spell that lets you choose between countering a blue spell or destroying an artifact or enchantment would be sweet. But red's not supposed to destroy enchantments.

I love the idea of this card, but at best it seems it's sideboard material for certain combo decks. At best. I've excepted that this is probably the best counter red or green will have for a while though.
I imagine when this card is useful though, it's vital. But for now, I'll pass on this and just continue waiting for a less specific green counterspell. That or green wrath. It'll happen, just you wait.

Not only would that be flavorful, but it'd also make the card more interesting. But I'm still glad to have what we do now, haha.
