This has potential. I'd say with Gilder Bairn, plenty of Wizards, and draw-triggering effects (all which are blue), this could be broken. I might try this one.

I'd add a Maro creature or two to that deck, probably the blue and green Kamigawa ones, Llanowar Reborn, and something to grant evasion or trample.

Like jetzine said, too much fun with Lorescale Coatl. She even has a snake pet. Also not bad in casual with other counter-ific creatures, like Scute Mob, protected with stuff like Plaxcaster Frogling.
@A3Kitzune - I totally dropped 4 Llanowar Reborns in there since last I checked here - they are invaluable. I'd never heard of Mero - but I want it.

Insanely good combo with Glen Elendra Archmage. You effectively get unlimited use of U: counter target noncreature spell.
If you can then take care of their creatures/creature spells, you're set.
Great but not broken combo with Fathom Mage. You'll draw an extra card whenever you play Fathom Mage, then you can remove counters for Fathom Mage to evolve her easier.
