Probably the best of the mimic cycle. 4/4 evasion? Yes please.

This + Edge of the Divinity = win.

True_Mumin:
Isn't that true with most all of the mimics and their colored enchantment?

Jugglingguy: well this is the best. Orzhova would have loved this guy.

An easy 4/4 Flyer who cost you nearly {2} in a {(W/B)} deck! Freaking sweet.

By far the most effective Mimic with its Demigod Enchantment.
Swinging for 7 by turn 3?
WITH evasion?
Yeah, it was hard to stand a chance with this guy,
Especially if your opponent brought out Deathbringer Liege.
B/W in Shadowmoor was just insane.

Is casting Nightsky Mimic consider a black and white spell? Or one of the two; whichever was paid for the mana cost?

It's considered both.

Yes, he is both. Mana paid has no effect on the color, only mana symbols. Just like if you paid Blue for him in the 1 slot, he isn't considered Blue in any form. BUT, he doesn't see his own casting. Meaning, his ability isn't active when he is cast so he won't be a 4/4 when he comes out. Another Nightsky would trigger the first one though.

By itself, this card is decent. But with cards like Castigate, Vindicate, Edge of the Divinity, Angel of Despair, and Divinity of Pride, WhiteBlack aggro could quite easily be very beastly.

Replace the word "mimic" in the flavor text with a different word... I'll give you a hint... it starts with "rap" and ends with "ist"...

To be honest I think the G/U mimic-enchantment is the strongest combo. 7 in the air with trample and vigilance>7 in the air.

This guy was nuts. Everyone loves to imagine the mimics along with their demigod enchantments, but he really didn't need it. Playing a Nightsky Mimic on turn two often heralds a quick path to a brutal victory: a 4/4 flyer attacking every turn is nothing to sneeze at. Just keep blasting blockers (Mortify, Pillory of the Sleepless) and dropping support (Stillmoon Cavalier or just more mimics) and your opponent's life will bottom out in short order.

5/5, because I just got back from a pauper draft where I had a 7/7 flying doublestriker on turn 3.

(double cleave edge of the divinity)

This card is welcome in my Orzhov deck. Swinging for an occational evasive 4 is no joke.

No one's said it yet?

That flavor text is downright unsettling.
