For starters its a 7/7 for WUBRG, thats not bad value, but that hopefully by the time you get that mana base you should have atleast another couple slivers out, they all get seriously beefed up, and so does he.

Best Sliver Legend for Aggro, well obviously. It's better than Coat of Arms since it normall won't boost your opponent's creatures. It's simple and maybe unimaginative, but there's not much one could critique about this card from a "play the cards that fit your deck the most" perspective.

The Commander in my EDH Sliver deck. It's like having a Coat of Arms always at the ready for when you make you slivers unblockable with Shifting Sliver or Shadow Sliver. It's a win condition if you can last long enough when the other players team up against you when they find out you're playing slivers. :P

@ themonkey74: your general should really be sliver overlord. It lets you tutor for this, the queen, gemhide, crystalline, or a chameleon colossus. Either way, expect to have your general die. lots.

Yes, Coat of Arms is cheaper, but do you get a 7/7 Sliver with it? Not to mention the buff is generally only for your creatures, with the exception of the mirror match. This card has won many a game for me. It is a must for aggro slivers!

The wonderful thing about slivers is slivers are wonderful things their bodies are made out of sinew they've got muscles on top of their wings they're hasted, trample, shroud, and shadow plus one plus one plus one but the most wonderful thing about slivers is there... is more than one! post this on all sliver cards :)

That flavor text should really have been on the card Chrysalis (which sac's and lets you pull Queen of Blades out of your library).

Yeah right up there for for the "Best Sliver Ever" Award. 5 color casting is the only drawback, but with Gemhide Sliver thats not really a big problem. Nice colors on the art yes, but a crappy picture otherwise, show me something cool for such an awsome card, not some foggy cave and disembodied claws. Meh on the flavour text, agree with the previous legion comment.

By far one of the worst slivers made.
For all of you saying that this is better than coat of arms, you assume that your opponent is playing tribal also. And don't forget you're playing SLIVERS for crying out loud!! That means you should have a way to kill your opponents the second it hits the field. Not too mention coat of arms isn't legendary. The only benefit of playing this over coat arms, is that it can be tutored with homing sliver/sliver Overlord.
As for the other WUBRG slivers, EDH general use should be strictly Overlord. In general, Queen is the best tho.

I need one of these. I have 4 coat of arms for my sliver deck, but it is also bumping up my opponent's creatures. I get one of these all slivers get +5/+5 for each other sliver. along with Sliver Queen. Every 2 mana will get you +5/+5 on all slivers.

Dragon Arch to get it out. Mirror Entity to activate it with whatever (is there any creatures that you would like to get all the sliver boosts, while counting as another sliver to add +1/+1 to the hive. Experiment Kraj gives all slivers you put a +1/+1 counter on give him their ability to double.
Consider all your slivers counting as all other creature types, as well so tribal types help out in this 5-color idea...
Reaper King would let you make opponents sac their guys when you cast more "scarecrows/slivers" all turn long.

Let's be serious- slivers have never been a serious tribal, so this is seeing casual play at best.
That said- this is a sweet card for what it is. It's going to be a PITA to get out, with its one of each mana cost thing, but you ought to have some other slivers out there to make it worthwhile. If not, by the time this guy comes out, you've already lost, so that's that. He breaks stalemates and that's got to be worth something.

I don't particaularly like Sliver Legion. I understand the sentiment - it's the next logical step in crazy Sliver synergies - and I do indeed use it, but it doesn't feel like another Sliver boss. It feels like a bunch of pastel slivers. Seriously, guys - my whole deck is a Sliver Legion.
