You have Thopter Foundry and Sword of the Meek on the battlefield. You tap four mana and cast a Krark-Clan Ironworks. You sacrifice any two Ornithopter/Mishra's Bauble/Bone Saw/Spidersilk Netfor four colorless mana. You use one mana to sacrifice the Sword of the Meek and make a 1/1 Thopter. The Sword of the Meek comes back onto the battlefield. You spend one of the three floating mana to sacrifice it again and make a new 1/1 Thopter and bring the Sword back again. Then you sacrifice the first 1/1 Thopter to the Krark-Clan Ironworks and get another two mana. You then repeat this until you have enough to cast a Whetwheel. Once you have enough mana to pump throgh the Whetwheel you can Mill there entire deck by this turn. You net 2 life, one mana, and one 1/1 Thopter every time you go through the motions.

Cloudpost and Vesuva powering this thing would be amazing to see.

Friend of mine had some crazy infinite mana combo in timespiral standard. Used Whetweel as an extra win condition if he didn't feel like Blazeing for "1337 damage", as he put it.

I won with this card in an Urzatron/Locus deck, with extra mana-makers. When the opponent has too much life to Blaze, this card does the trick nicely.

I run this in my Mrr deck. Fun times.

If this was future shifted, why didn't they make it "bottom X cards of his or her library" to make it feel even more unique?

Because you never know when you'll need that 2/2 morph creatures...

I like the morph ability because it lets you get it in cheaper (in case you are getting mana screwed early on)

And the other thing i love about permanents that are no creatures when they unmorph is, the fact that if the creature is being targeted by a creature kill or exile spell, it makes it an illegal target, or if you use it to block.

Another card with gorgeous art that we'll never see reprinted in a decent frame. What I wouldn't give for a copy of each future-shifted card in extended-art form...

I'm afraid Sands of Delirium has doubly outclasses this. You get double the mill for Variable Colorless, and it costs 1 less. The morph part barely matters and can even make Whetwheel easier to remove with creature removal.

It's a pity they haven't made more non-creature morph cards.

A strange card, honestly. The morph seems to have almost no synergy with the underlying ability, almost like they just shoved morph in their to make it seem futuristic.
