7th Edition had a theme, almost a story even, of the feud between the northern paladin and the southern paladin against the eastern paladin and western paladin.
Not sure who wins but I'm @ssuming it's the pentarch paladin.

How come the Northern and Southern Paladins get to destroy permanents, but the Eastern and Western Paladins only get to destroy creatures. That hardly seems fair. The good guys always seem to get the advantage, huh?
