What were they thinking? Seriously, its not Bird of Paradise, but its definitely a Utopia Tree that can attack and make all your other slivers into Utopia trees that can attack. So it has 1 less toughness? I don't think that makes much of a difference.. both creatures are equally Shockable.

@Akatosh:

It's a sliver, they don't stay 1/1's very long...

It's a must have sliver for speeding up your sliver deck's game play. Mixed with Heart Sliver is just beautiful.

the absolute must in a sliver deck, better than birds, it's a sliver, all slivers get its ability.

My favorite sliver ever. I don't have money for birds of paradise. I just use 4 of these in my deck and they work great.

I don't understand why this is a common. It is the fastest mana excel I know of. Essentially turning every sliver into a Birds of Paradise without flying or a Utopia Tree. Both of which are rares.

I don't think I've seen a sliver more loved or hated than this one except maybe the Queen.

I think it is fair to say this is arguably the best sliver ever printed, and it is a rare sliver deck that doesn't run them. 5/5 because I cannot rate it any higher.

Protip: KILL IT!!

But seriously, this is the grease on the wheels of the sliver deck, then the gas in the engine. If you have the chance to kill this one, which can be difficult with the equally bastardy Crystalline Sliver floating around, do it. With luck you'll buy yourself some time.

One of the most edible looking slivers. Fry him up and have some rock candy later. It's all good

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.
Specifically, each Sliver in Time Spiral and Planar Chaos derive their ability and mana cost from a previously printed card.

This Sliver is referencing Utopia Tree (though the similarity to Birds of Paradiseshould be noted as Utopia Tree was a callback to Birds!)

I used to run 4 in my sliver deck, you don't need 2 at once afer all. Thing got killed every time it touched the field so now I run 4 because the first one will always die. ALWAYS

If your opponent hasn't played against a sliver deck before, he might not know to kill this immediately. Mana acceleration for someone with a handful of pretty, pretty slivers is seldom good news. They'll all get dumped onto the table, and then into your face. Also allows you to fearlessly drop Armageddon if you don't think there has been enough suffering. Probably the second most important sliver, after Crystalline. 5/5
