Not as powerful as it's Urza's Saga predecessor but powerful in its own right. Negates artifact killing instants like Shatter and Disenchant. This card is perfect for the Mirrodin block: Mindslaver anyone!?

I have plenty of use for these in casual. Solid card. Almost a must have in a deck that is heavy in artifacts and can produce blue.

This and Tezzeret in a modded out Metallic Dreams= SWEET deal!

Also, if you can find a way to only go artifact with your land, then you are looking at a horde of 5/5s. Plus, this card can bring back any one of your dead artifacts back, and that's very useful in an artifact heavy deck.

The artifact Volrath's Stronghold.

I have adapted my Killing Gentleman decklist to include this with its combo of Mindslaver, harkening to the 43 Land Deck that has been floating around in Legacy. I'm still in playtesting, but I usually win with this combo about 40% of the time, and it brings a solid lockout condition for the win conditions of my deck. It's interesting, because it also brings back the Crucible of Worlds and Zuran Orb as well. Coupled with a few other ideas based on 43 Land and Harmful Stranger, I have come up with a decidedly delightful concoction. I need to test it further, and it may need more tweaking. But I love this card, and it loves my deck.

Why wouldn't you run four of these in an esper deck?

Mindslaver is the obvious combo, but the ability to get back any artifact repeatedly is just begging for abuse. Try even the Spellbombs.

Every artifact deck needs some way of bringing their artifacts back. This is the card to do it.

This fished out by an Expedition Map is a really simple combo in EDH that lets you get whatever lands you want out of your deck, and makes all your artifacts impervious. Very good card, one of the most powerful lands in the game.

After Volrath's Stronghold, now I'm expecting a white land that recover enchantments, a green land that recover lands, and a red land that recover instants and sorceries...

Such amount of recursion gives you a lot of inevitability and card advantage that if the opponent doesn't destroy the land, he/she will be in a lot of trouble...!

5/5, almost a must-have in any artifact-based blue deck...!

Good times isn't playing ad infinitum on your turn. If you play an infinite combo in Commander, people deserve to be mad...

Yeah, this land is pretty broken and is one of the reasons I run LD in my commander decks.

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Volrath's Stronghold mechanically and Tolarian Academy for flavor. Possibly the crabs mentioned in the flavor text are Hermit Crabs?

"Balanced" for being legendary land, but this land can produce so many game winning combos while politely tapping for 1. Run x2 in any blue artifact deck.
