So you get two 3/4 creatures for 6CC... and if one dies, they are both destroyed... hmmm. Even I can't find a whole lot of upside on this one.

I wonder if there's some flaky way to duplicate his ability to get a pile of Stangg tokens? Probably not.

Could be considered the source for the Precursor Golem idea.

Mirror Gallery -- is that flaky enough for you?

Legends is a weird set. In some ways they wanted to demonstrate the raw power of being a legend creature type for Magic. But the irony, being most of the Legends coming out of Legends were so bad they actually demonstrated the Raw weakness of the Legend type.

Costing 4RedGreen and being a Legend in today's environment gets you a Ruric Thar, the Unbowed compare the 2 creatures and you will see what I mean. Given that whoever plays their creature first will be forced to attack. But Ruric Thar turns the tide of the game completely, while Stang just makes a copy of himself. Add the fact that Stang has a serious drawback of sorrow issues.

Stang would've been perfect if him and his twin had haste. 6 damage on Turn 6 is really good, combined with a 3/4 body that would most likely survive combat.
