Use a Saproling Cluster with this card to get mana. Throw in a Fecundity to get any amount of mana.

Infinite mana combo with two creatures with Persist and blade of the bloodchief. Attach the blade to one. Sacrifice, add two colorless mana. It comes back with a -1/-1 counter. Change the equipment for one, sacrifice the other, it comes back with a -1/-1 counter. You can also do fun things like use Woodfall Primus or Murderous Redcap to destroy their land, or just kill them!

Does anyone want a link to Bloodghast?

@Ragamander: According to the official rulings, +1/+1 counters remove -1/-1 counters, and vice versa, at a rate of one for one. Therefore, the combo mentioned by Xelopheris works.

Can this be used with an Eldrazi deck to maximise mana? If I sacrifice a spawn token do I get 1 mana from the token and 2 from this artifact?

@Arachibutyrophobia

Nice combo, especially since it also lets you cycle through your deck for a win method.

@nammertime

Huh, you're right.

@Psyonus: Of course not. You either sacrifice using one ability or the other. How could you possibly do both ?

I run three of these and four spike rogues in my red/green undying deck for three infinite loops. This, a spike rogue, and any undying creature makes the spike rogue an infinite power infinite toughness creature. With a flayer of the hatebound and a spike rogue it's infinite damage to any number of players. With this, a spike rogue, any undying creature, and a gutter grime you can create an infinite number of infinite power and toughness creatures. It's pretty ridiculous when I pull any of them off.
