Why 10 life? Did they decide the subgame from Shahrazad takes too long? Plus if no one lost life, they then lose life. I'd prefer it to be 20 life, because then you are starting over, assuming it's not Two-Headed Giant or Commander, that is. Such a weird card for white, seems more blue given mode's references.

@sarroth: White is the color of fairness and equalizing (see Balance, Restore Balance, Wrath of God...). Resetting the game seems quite "fair" and "equalizing" to me.

Ax_morph, That wouldn't work without Quicken, as you'd need to cast OWN, then /this/ in response.
OWN resolving first discards your hand... which is then refilled by this card. Barren Glory wouldn't win you the game because you'd have 7 cards in hand.
