Looks nice to starting players, but is less than worth it. I'm glad he was cut for 10th edition, because it's mean to try and sell one of these or a Trained Orgg to a new player.

Why the $#@% is this Rare?!

Meh. Not worth putting in most decks, but really not bad. Not particularly good, but not bad. Blue normally has to pay an arm and a leg for P/T.

FUBAR. If you have ALOT of mana production, then I guess you could throw it in there. Otherwise, it's a waste of paper.

I hasten to add, however that the artwork is pretty down. ^_^

Next step is to make it into a Creature - Rabbit Fish Beast

A rare pink vanillia rabbit ? give me a break...

lol I actually use these but only because they're rabbits. If it was just one little tiny mana less to cast it'd be really good.

2.5/5 for the flavor text only

i liked its other picture, and its swamp cousin, i have 4 of these, after i gave 4 away to a new player,

they weren't bad back in the day when vanilla creatures nearly always cost 1x for a x/x creature,
and for a while it was a good blue beefy creature
but it wasn't necessarily good, even back then
and now it isn't even playable at all. at all!

they need a legendary wizard holding a fish bowel and a bunny that lets you sacrafice it for a 6/6 vizzerdrix token

I'm giving this a 3.5/5 because even tho it really shouldnt be anything except common, blue doesn't often get large creatures without drawbacks because of having so many abilities to get its creatures past blockers(flying, islandwalk, unblockable, shadow). I don't mind running one or two of these in my blue unblockable deck; people go from laughing at the fact that I just played a vizzerdrix to groaning when I slap a Steel of the Godhead on it.

Mediocre at best tho.

Quite honestly, Vizzerdrix is the perfect card for Energy Tap.

This card never should have been made. I accept underpowered cards. I accept newbie cards. I accept simple cards. However, this is all three of those, AND it's off-colored. Blue should on only rare occasions have big creatures without abilities. This is clearly a newbie card, but when someone is new to the game, do you want them thinking this is what blue's about? Save the off-color cards for the experienced players and let new players learn the color pie.

Got to love the killer blue rabbit

Blue has to pay out of the wazoo for a creature this big. Blue isn't known for it's large creatures.

This isn't that horrible a card - just a mediocre big dude with interesting flavour.

That said, this guy really doesn't make sense in blue. I have to rate him a 1.5 just because blue shouldn't be getting vanilla 6/6 creatures. It makes no sense.

One of my very first cards. I think Vizzerdrix is the reason blue is my favorite now.

What? A big blue creature that isn't a kraken or leviathan? What's this world coming to?
count_dorku
★★★★★ (5.0/5.0) (2 votes)
I use one of these because I don't have many decently-sized blue cards.

I actually own four of them, but I can't think of any sane reason to use more than one.

This deserves higher than a 2 just for the fact that it's a drawbackless 6/6 in blue that isn't terribly costed. Sure it sucks, but it is a giant bunny.

if this is half-Rabbit, half-Piranha, why doesn't it have the creature type Rabbit Fish Beast? that'd be amazing.

I hated pulling him as a rare during the editions he was printed in, as Mahamoti Djinn is already in this set at 6 CMC and flying at the cost of 1 power

He gets 1/5 for being a rabbit and thats it...
Radagast
☆☆☆☆☆ (0.0/5.0)
Horrible. Consider that this card was made AFTER Mahamoti Djinn, which itself was considered a solid card, but by no means a game-breaker or format-defining. Magic went through a period spanning from about 5th edition to 9th where it was considered acceptable to clutter up the base set with absolutely unplayable garbage like this card. Apparently, it was "good" for new players to pull useless cards from core sets while experienced players pulled far more powerful cards from expansions.

Blue is supposed to have the biggest creatures, except obviously green. Either way, I think it's just outclassed by Goliath Sphinx.

Although the card sucks, you have to say that the flavor is just amazing for this card.

But yeah, I agree with a Wizard holding a fish and a bunny that you sac to put a token of him in play. Or with the new flip cards, how about that? I could see this fitting quite well, actually, with the blue zombie deal in Innestrad.

Vizzer Unx- a 3/3 blue pirahna gerbil beast creature freak mutant thing for 4U

Vizzer Drix- a 6/6 blue pirahna rabbit beast creature freak mutant thing for 5U

You'd think a bunny-piranha would be... smaller, right?

By the looks of it, that bored wizard maybe...

Maybe he/she took a page out of Delver of Secrets book...

OR MAYBE IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND! OOOOOOH, SH1T'S GETTIN' REAL!

I believe they made a lot of these cards when they made the learn to play magic video game. Lack of abilities and extremely simple/bad cards both helped bring in a much younger crowd as well as simplify the work that the software had to do.

Keep in mind that these were not actually placed in booster packs.
