I'm pretty sure this was made so above the curve because it required white mana in a block where a bunch of other creatures had flexible dual-color mana costs and still had good abilities. Mourning Thrull comes to mind.

Mark Poole is back! "Mark Poole never left... and I'm beginning to think his mind is no longer in 'mint' condition." But seriously, Mark Poole is one of the best artists of all time, I'm surprised he did a card so new.
Destroys Zephyr Falcon. I'm amazed at how much better it is. Better than Storm Crow... well, in a white/blue Stasis deck Courier Hawk is better than ZF and SC since it doesn't use up early Stasis fuel prior to Forsaken City or Eon Hub.
