You really have to bust your ass to be able to put 4 different colored mana into this. But if you can mana fix I guess it's an alright card. It will also be much better if you have multiple Energy Chambers in play, though this dude is a secondary target for them at best in a deck that revolves around the chamber.

It's an excellent in-block card. Ramping into four colors with artifacts (especially now, if you count out of block!) is not hard to do at all, and Glimmervoid, the Talismans, the Artifact lands, and all the green color ramping available in Fifth Dawn can allow you to consistently hit this for its full sunburst count on the fourth turn, and I've done it earlier, too. Then, attack until it dies, and blow it up for a Ancestral Recall's worth of cards. As MasterOfEtherium said, a 4/4 for 4 is nothing to shake a stick at.
This sits high on my list of awesome Fifth Dawn cards, and it probably will for a very long time.
Plus, I absolutely love the artwork! Matt Cavotta did a great job here.

People often try to use this card as card-drawing engine and fail, because creating ~four~ +1/+1 counters is much work and takes much effort without the very obvious Doubling Season.. I'd say, be happy with your three cards and have fun bashing face with a nice 4/4 creature until then! :) By the way, this is probably the only card page where MasterOfEtherium's comment has a decent rating and is even quoted by other people..

This card is positively ridiculous nowadays with Proliferating and what have you. 4 for a 4/4 is great. Toss in a Steel Overseer, and an Unwinding Clock for excellent draw power.
The only thing disappointing is that Oracle and its son (Etched Champion) set standards so high for the "Etched" series that Monstrosity face planted in comparison.
