The only time this card is good is if its in the battlefield with Sakura-Tribe Scout or Skyshroud Ranger.

Years ago, I had hope he would be errata'd to crocodile simply so he could work in tribal decks. Alligators are my favorite animals, so I always liked this guy based on that, even though he was never particularly useful. And alligators ARE a member of the order "Crocodilia", so this is accurate.
