I actually kinda like this. Too bad it can't destroy artifacts- that's what kills it.

Run with Soul Sculptor.

Even better than Soul Sculptor, combo this with Enchanted Evening.

I like buyback. It improves the usability of a card.

I think that Capsize compares and contrasts well with Boomerang. I think that Allay compares and contrasts well with Capsize - though I think a buyback of {1W} would have been a better and more reasonable rate.

That's what Shattering Pulse is for. They basically made a buyback card for each color that does something it's good at;
Green Constant Mists (Fog)
Blue Capsize (Boomerang)
White Allay (Disenchant)
Black Disturbed Burial (Raise Dead)
Red Shattering Pulse (Shatter)

I run this card in every EDH deck that has white in it. Having a reusable Disenchant is invaluable in that format.

What's with that guy's position?
