Total "Timmy" card.

I have this in one of my decks, I also have Master Transmuter in that deck, so i can bring it out for no mana at all. This card is a 5!

Master Transmuter means Who gives a **** about mana cost.

This should be fun for the people who get it in the Metallic Dreams Planechase deck.

I'd say use it in an artifactg only deack, using mostly artifact lands, 4 of each I know of 5 which would give you 20 land, ad in 1 of each of the mana producing myr that's 25 mana sources which is enough for me, add in nevinyrral's disk and darksteel forge and any sort of artifacts you want, non perminents as you please and you have a decent deck. The darksteel forge will protect your perminents (land included from some one playing land destruction) you can use your disks willy nilly because it's effect will no longer destroy it and you will still have an army, this card is even more playable if you have a bunch of dark rituals or pentad prisms or a fist of suns.... I would go with the fist of suns and toss the rituals and the pentad prisms in the deck any way... 2 of each maybe so lets see I'm up to

Myr enforcer, yes it has affinity ofr artifacts you play it late you maybe able to play it for free lets do arcbound slith and arcbound crusher 2 of each, I'll add gorgon flail , cranial plating skeleton shard, and Unscythe, Killer of kings oh oh oh and wizard replica.

Timmy card Phantom? Its a turn 4 card in any Esper deck, hell any deck with Tinker or Master Transmuter in it.

Epic. It turns annoyances into permanent threats, and high-level threats into game enders. This thing is a beast, particularly since there are so many ways to get artifacts into play for lower costs now.

Definitely one of my favorite artifacts ever, mostly because, well, look at it. I don't really see why anyone that plays artifacts wouldn't play with at least one. Or at least own one. It's just so... impressive. And entirely practical with Master Transmuter, as said before.

If Darksteel had mythic rares, this would have been one.

No, transmuter isn't required, there are also other ways, like Goblin Welder.
Leonin Abunas, Mycosynth Lattice & this lock things down pretty well, but Decree of Annihilation and Merciless Eviction still gets through...but Nevinyrral's Disk and Oblivion Ring don't get through the lock.

Throw in Pariah's Shield, True Believer, Grand Abolisher, Leyline of Sanctity and/or Worship to really be like the prerevisionist planeswalkers.
