It's not bad. If you have enough artifacts, a 4/5 flying blocker each turn for U or a 4/5 flying attacker every other for U isn't anything to scoff at.

Annoying art (since it looks like it should be flying but isn't). I think it may pick up a few points with Scars out, since returning to the hand gets rid of -1/-1 counters, and it's bigger than almost everything with infect (except Putrefax and Skitty).

I always thought it was swimming. Not a good card.

When I saw the bounce effect, I cried. I suppose you can blink it with Venser to negate the effect or just play it a second time after combat or during your turn for(hopefully) one blue mana?
Still, the need for 6 artifacts to reduce it completely is a tad hefty but with ornithopters and memnites, one can get this out pretty early. In a very unrealistic hand, 6 0 costs and 1 island for a Behemoth next turn is... possible but not very likely.
I dunno, offensive blue creatures makes me all giddy.
And if you're replaying it every turn, it can both attack and block every turn.

This guy is terrible. There is really no way around it. Even inside he own set let alone block he was pretty bad. He's not unplayable, just by the time you could do anything with him, there's a million other things you could spend that mana on.
Usually he just ends up getting played when you have nothing better to do on your turn and both you and your opponent are running out of steam.
I think if it had flash and/or flying it would be much more playable.

I think i'd actually like the card if just the bounce was more abusable, because recasting a 4/5 with a cmc of 7 for one mana does sound potentially awesome.
Or if it had flash, it would be pretty neat too: Keep one mana open and *boom*, surprise 4/5 behemoth blocking the path of your opponent's dude.
Like that it's just an awkward choice for a Myr Enforcer that can't be Oxidized.

In a proper artifact deck, casting this guy twice in a turn (if you had to block with him) becomes really cheap - also stick an Angel's Tomb out and he can be triggering that every turn

I think people are missing the point here. The drawback of getting a 4/5 for 1-3 mana and recasting him is tiny.
Why? Because if he's 1-mana you can afford it. Artifact lands, a couple mana rocks, and a myr or two and boom; you have a fatty for 1 mana who has psuedo vigilance. Give him flash (many ways in blue/artifacts) and you can do this at any time. Flash him in for 1 mana, kill something on the block, flash him in again at EoT to attack with him.
