Definitely not a bad drop on turn four, especially when fighting weenie decks.

Always loved this card. Of course since Tempest came out there are even better cards, but a 4/4 for 4 mana that has 1st strike is pretty amazing. Very efficient creature. The drawback isn't so bad. The only unusual thing is the "First strike" which is a White ability. A little bit out of flavor for a black card. This card probably should have been a white rare.

Its a giant bunny. Its also a 4/4 first strike for 4. But most of all, its a giant bunny.
Interesting take on first strike. On this card its almost a defect, as it will cause the rabbit to survive fights and remove enemy creatures...causing you that annoying burn.
Great with evasion effects...Dauthi's Embrace anyone?
He's really not bad. A 4/4 with First Strike will probably clear out most anything in combat, and if your opponent doesn't have any creatures, he'll be swinging for four and keeping the damage ratio at least even, anyway.
Furthermore, it is a giant rabbit.

Great card, especially in multiplayer. You can play him fairly early, his drawback will nearly never matter in multiplayer, and few people will attack early on into a 4/4 first striker. And it can deal quite some damage too. Late game they are great as well, if you draw into multiplers. Two of them can take out anything with 8 or less toughness without receiving any damage themselves. And the art is awesome too.

Nowadays First Strike is perfectly fine on the random Black rare. The only other color I could see this exact card in is Red, but then again Black has a much greater history of having upkeep-triggered pain abilities.

I'd love to see this guy in a new frame with a typeline that says "Creature — Rabbit Beast". Reprint this in M15 along with Vizzerdrix please. You could use the Starter flavor text for Vizzerdrix as a bonus.
Maybe even add a new 'Rabbeasdrix' and make this a horizontal cycle: Bummerdrix (common) -> Vizzerdrix (uncommon) -> Kezzerdrix (rare)
