Sure, he is awful, but the man is ripped and has an awesome flavor text. And hey, the turn after you play him with basic lands, he is attacking as at least a 6/6, plus your other random untapped stuff.

I can remember opening a Weatherlight-Booster as a 12 year old and to find him in the rare-slot. Back then I didn´t know that Rares even existed. :-) But never the less I was fascinated of this muscle packet bodybuilder. And the flavor text absolutly rocks!

Your real exalted hero!

So if you tap everything on the field, he collapses in on himself? What a bizarre effect. Kinda puts all your eggs in one basket... Very versatile to power up though, and you can pretty much use it as a wild card in any deck that relies on effects like these. Still cracks me up that he just -explodes- if you have all your resources working at once though.

Something like a combination of Dakkon Blackblade and Keldon Warlord seems to be what they were going for. They should've given him 1+* like the Lhurgoyf, or at least given him vigilance so that he doesn't suddenly become a 0/0 by attacking. That's just silly.

I accidently just 2 main phases, one PRE-COMBAT, one POST-COMBAT. Awesome flavor text, better than meets the eye ability, and he's so ripped that you could make a bunch of weak little guys, MAYBE EVEN FREE MEMNITES?!, then use berserk or downhill charge. Then Fling. I am show example.

T1, Forest, Bird of Paradise.
T2, Mountain, Bird of Paradise.
T3, Mountain, Ornithopter, Paradise Mantle
T4, Forest, Maraxus of Keld. He's a 1/1.... let's just hope he doesn't die right?
T5, Mountain, Maraxus of Keld is currently a 9/9. 7+5 = 12, so you have 2 more cards in hand. Assuming you drew one each turn. Now is not the time to strike! But you hit them anyway because you're amazed by how good he's doing so far.
T6, 3 cards in hand. This is where things get crazy. Maraxus is at 9/9 still. All of a sudden.... you tap a forest. He becomes 8/8. You cast berserk. He becomes 16/8. You tap a mountain. He becomes 15/7. You sacrifice that mountain, to cast Downhill Charge. He becomes 30/7. Your enemy is starting to look a bit worried, thinking they had nothing to fear they tapped all their lands. They should be fine, because they got a blocker... but..... You tap a forest. 29/6. You have one red, and one green floating in your mana pool. Your enemy wishes they were red right now for two Lightning bolts...

Without that horrible nerf ruling, he would be sooo decent. As he is right now, is overpriced. Well played, WotC, 10/10, would rage again.

Without that errata you could play some phyrexian walkers and some artifact lands and pump him up nicely. As it is, however, he´s just not worth it on... pretty much any deck? maybe a exalted deck? but at that mana, there are just so many better things out there.

@Sphagetti: There is no nerf ruling to this, just clarification. You've never have been able to count anything twice. From the get go Fireball couldn't target anything twice etc.

@GradiustheFox: Nowhere on the card it says that he comes tapped on the battleground. So he'll be at least 1/1 when you play him.

Trample is definately missing from him, but so it's missing from Keldon Warlord.

I have to clarify the counts twice:

Hypotetical aura 1:

Enchantment - Aura
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each red and each green creature.

Hypotetical aura 2:

Enchantment - Aura
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each red creature.
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each green creature.

Now the first aura gives only one +1/+1 for a read and green creature, but the second will give +2/+2.

This guy kills when paired up with vigilance. Get a Serra's Blessing out, and you can swing with everyone, including your ridiculously beefed up Maraxus. I'd want him for my EDH general, but of course, vigilance is generally in white's wheelhouse, not red's.

Dear God... I'm pretty sure muscles don't work that way. That's the kind of anatomy you find on *** fan art.

He's chaos, yet the synergy of his power and toughness are based on order. Nevertheless, the fluctuation of such comes from disorder. Paradoxical.

I would NOT want to arm wrestle with that guy. (Any Unhinged fans in the house?)

I only remember him from the Magic: Battlegrounds game for Xbox.

I purposely got all of the Legendary creatures featured, and figured that he was the second worst, above Ihsan's Shade. I also attempted to make the decks featuring the cards included. White one both contests with Akroma, Angel of Wrath... and having Wrath of God.

That's really not fair when the second best creature Red can get is a Volcanic Dragon

Just finished Artifacts Cycle II. loved it! :D Idea for a card that should have been in Future Sight so badly :P

Krieg, Witch-King of Keld

Legendary Creature- Mutant Warrior Barbarian Berserker From Hell (Mythic Rare)

Trample, Double Strike, Haste, + this guy's ability

Creatures that enter the battlefield from the graveyard have trample, double strike, haste, and bloodthirst 35.

Flavor Text: "And that's what you get when the Incredible Hulk steals Urza's steroids formulas"

Real Flavor Text: "Those Phyrexians think they can desecrate our Ancient Necropolis? Behold! I have returned to lead our fallen Great Ones to Victory! I will tear their Ineffable King apart with my BARE HANDS! THIS. IS. KELDON!!!!!!!!"

Well, time to splash red guys, cos this nutjob is ready to charge like a GIANT.

My card quotes me saying a thing I said and then says my name, so that you know it was me that said the thing I said that they quoted me saying on my own card.
