very very expensive but sooo very cool. When it dies, everything does.

When it dies, Akroma yet lives.
I'd love to see this get taken down only to have someone Exhume it the next chance they get.

This card is just cool.
Flavorful, very nice art, strong effect, epic flavor text, all these combine to form one of my faovrite demons in Magic, if not my favorite.

Since Baneslayer Angel has Pro Demons, does she still die to this? Because it isn't a targeted ability. I'm not really sure. Any help would be awesome!

@EvilCleavage: Yes, BSA would die to this card if it went to the graveyard.

Having 2 of these and sacrificing one is more evil than Destructive Force.

I dare anyone to try and Rite of Replication this. It'd be awesome to see that and sac this guy causing a massive -30/-30 to all creatures.
For the sake of collecting demons and some safety, this guy is good in a deck that runs mainly 6/6 style demons with the capability to sac. On that note, i'd suggest Carnifex Demon, Hellcarver Demon, and probably Liege of the Pit. Grinning Demon works as well.
These specifically have managable costs (I find that 6 cost or less is easy. 7 cost becomes a bear) and have some synergy (such as hellcarver or the leige killing your havoc demon and subsequently everything else on the field)

I love Havoc Demon. One of the pevital characters in my "Everybody Must Dead"-deck.
Fisrt off I'm compelled to say, to all you Angel people, Akromas and Baneslayers are affected by this card's effect because they aren't being targeted a such. That is the distinction between "each", where everything is targeted specificly, and "all" where the effect is global, without specific targets.
Then an tip: Use a Soldevi Adnate to sac your Havoc Demon, then use the mana to play another one!

Actually, Akroma would live, even if it dies. She's a 6/6.

No one said this kills Akroma; but giving something -5/-5 is definitely "affecting" it, and there are only five angels (Akroma, Iona, Empyrial Archangel, Archangel of Strife, Admonition Angel) that can survive this, and even then they become 1/1 or 2/2; nothing that a well-placed massacre couldn't take care of.

Forget Akroma or Baneslayer.
Avacyn, Angel of Hope makes this all kinds of useless: While Indestructible doesn't DIRECTLY beat -1/-1 counters, there is a whole world of creatures, enchantments, artifact, and planeswalkers that WISH they were Indestructible. And once they are, it is pretty much good night. Or is that Goldnight?

@DarthParallax: Sure, Avacyn herself would survive. But everything else you had would be toast. Also, who said anything about counters?
You can use Kuro, Pitlord to get the more stubborn creatures down to size.

Anything with less than 1 toughness is put into the graveyard as a state based action, even if it's indestructible. Darksteel Myr, for example.
Avacyn would still die should you happen to have two out, since one'd trigger the other and they'd stack. She would, of course, survive a single one.
