Holy unexpected reprint from Legends, Batman! This shows just how powerful re-contextualization can be. Reprinted in a block covered with artifacts, whose powerful creatures were often artifacts, this could lock down nasty threats without killing them (key when it's a Darksteel Colossus or Arcbound Ravager). It's a surprisingly cheap artifact and a completely functional card from Legends, which are few and far between.
