Seems like a good addition to a G/B deck that dumps things in the graveyard.

I don't even care about how functional this may or may not be, I want one just for the flavor! The returned are one of the few features of Theros not from Greek myth, and yet they fit so wonderfully well. I we turned up some previously unknown Greek myths that had returned in them, I'd not be shocked at all, they just fit so well.

Probably not worth it compared to stuff like Vile Rebirth, but great flavor.

Zombify for large creatures with drawbacks. That's a pretty narrow niche; since Zombify gets around high mana costs, your targets don't generally have any drawbacks.
Don't fool yourself, Death's Shadow. Nobody loves you for your textbox; we only care about your body.

Zombify your dead the Theros way and get a free gold mask!

It's fixed reanimator, seems like a nice thing to put at common level. I mean, we weren't exactly about to get a Zombify reprint, but it's still good. You might not be able to bring back Griselbrand but you can still put out a big creature for four.

my first thought was doomgape, but now knowing that death's shadow, and Phyrexian Dreadnought are cards that exist. my suggestion is less cool =(. at least doomgape is cheap money-wise, just need to toss in the graveyard with good ol fashion discard or mill to make it applicable

Zombify is not instant speed people. Again read the card.

Is this Daxos? He looks similar, and he DOES come back as a returned...

Death's Shadow and Phyrexian Dreadnought are great options. They even help themselves into your graveyard!
