While the flavor and effect combine to make this an epic-feeling card, I can't help but recall all the terrible things that seem to occur on a daily basis on the oceans of Theros. Especially since Thassa went all psycho in this last set and seems to be taking a perverse pleasure in massacring large numbers of sailors, maybe launching the fleet is a bad idea.

This might not be the most competitive card, but it is fun to play. Pulled one at the prerelease today, and it led to crazy stuff every time I used it. I like the flavor, honestly. I'm not sure if I like the fact that the tokens come in tapped and attacking. It's nice to have the extra damage when you need it, but it encourages you to target more creatures to get more value out of it, which in turn leaves you with fewer blockers. Overall, 4/5.

my question is to wizards can this effect stack on creatures if this card targets the same creature multiple times
Green/White deck: Doubling season + Cathar's Crusade. Added bonus, throw in Red, and use the Heroic Akromian Soldier guy that pumps out tokens. u just dropped 2 1/1 soldiers for each time it's triggered.
Very nice heroic enabler. I like that the thrive cost is {1} and not {W}. Too bad it doesn't trigger battalion though.

One of the strive bombs in triple Nyx draft online that people seem to like to pass me so I can get multiple copies in my deck. Bunch of Satyr Hoplites, an Akroan Line Breaker and a pair of Leonin Iconoclasts allowed me to steamroll that tournament. Using the second copy to make tokens off of the tokens I made with the first copy the turn previously was especially fun.

Combowise - massive raid and lightning volley come to mind - maybe Akroan crusader
I'm also curious what happens if you quicken this and cast it on your opponent's creatures. Rulings?
