That said, combos surprisingly well with cards such as Goblin Sharpshooter. Just imagine the hilarious scene of the two of them shooting saprolings and other goblins together. Bahaha...
Deathbringer is kind of like a fair version of Goblin Sharpshooter. Essentially, Thoctar is better, but is two colours can costs more.
That being said, trying telling them Thoctar's fair when you've given him deathtouch or played Death Pits of Rath...

Bow of Nylea + this equals death to all creatures!!
Attack with Deathbringer Thoctar tap Bow of Nylea for a +1/+1 counter, take it off ping a creature, add a +1/+1 counter to Deathbringer Thoctar. Rinse and repeat til all creatures are dead... doing this before blockers are declared leaves your thoctar to swing freely!!
