I had this guy in a control deck I built for fun with meekstone and bounce spells, he really can annoy the crap out of your opponent. That life loss can start to add up, it makes your opponent think twice before casting anything.

What interesting artwork and flavor text. The card itself isn't negligible either. I think I'll pick some up...

I think it works a little better than Disruptive Student or Disruptive Pitmage...no?

Seriously though, Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura would be great for harassing opponents. BlueBlackGreen ramp control with dual lands? As long as you have more blue mana than they have free mana, they can't cast spells...

After determining that "Mund" in Magic means "Earth" (thanks to Thraximundar), this card could translate into "World Mind" or something like that.

If only ungu meant something...

Pretty awesome, hard to decide between this and Ertai. Ertai is a hard counter, which can of course make the difference between winning and losing the game. But this requires no mana to activate which means blue can leave more mana untapped for 2nd counters, or other things like intuition or gifts.

All I've found out so far is that it's probably a Swahili term, as there's a village in Kenya called "Mundungu". Unfortunately, Google Translate DOESN'T have that word in its repertoire. The only guess I have is that mundungus are some manner of Bantu shaman.
