I'll give Theros this, they sure have some nice artwork. Well, the enchant creatures do anyways. This creature, like most creatures with bestow that aren't green, won't see much (any) play outside of Limited. But in Limited, you can bet I'm taking a 2/2 usually-unblockable creature that has late-game value.

I love the "Eternity" feel that the Gods and Nymphs have with this Nyx-stuff swirling as part of their metaphysical bodies x)

But I am pretty sure that Cavern Lampad is the sexiest of them all x.X Especially compared to the Naiad!

A PERFECT lesson in how tactical concealment is far more attractive than just baring it all with no....challenge, or mystery ;O =D

This card is going to look damn fine in foil.

This is decent in limited if only for the evasion. It's essentially a weaker Accursed Spirit. The Bestow cost is expensive for a reason, it'd be insane if it were 3 or cheaper, especially since when its target dies, it becomes an evasive creature, so you don't get card disadvantage. This is one of the best in the Nymph cycle, but not a bomb, nor a first pick.

All the nymphs are amazing in limited. I'd say this is the one that comes with the most relevant ability, but it pays for it with a somewhat weightier cost. But the bestow isn't more than Spearpoint Oread and that card is an easy take. So it's probably fine.

Intimidate is more often working evasion than flying like Naiad, and this is easily sided out when the evasion isn't. As far as limited goes, Naiad is probably best followed by Leafcrown Dryad if only for the sheer efficiency of it. Lampad and Alseid are at the back of the pack, but it's a hell of a pack to be in the first place.

Amazing limited cards for common.

Intimidate is something that gets overshadowed in Limited. Accursed Spirit, which is weirdly similarly costed and power'ed/toughness'ed to this, was a great card because it means it can't be blocked by as many things. This is almost always going to be better than Spirit since you can give this to another creature.

Imagine you gave this to Anvilwrought Raptor. That'd mean it could only be blocked by artifact flying creatures. They'd either need another Anvilwrought Raptor or someone like Bronze Sable with flying. That being said, are you going to block a 4/3 first striker?

Some of the best plays are onto Heroic cards, since they're mostly mono-coloured. A 5/5 Fabled Hero? Ooohhh my!
