In tonight's performance, the part of the monk of Kruphix will be played by Sir Alec Guinness.

Good for limited, bad everywhere else. Sure, the number of enchantments in the set make evasion creatures better than they normally are. Still, you'd normally want a 3 power guy with evasion for 3 mana in a very aggressive deck. However, in a very aggressive deck, you can't waste the mana for his ability, since you need more creatures to keep up the pressure. It's only really playable in limited, where it can attack once or twice if played early, then sits around for a couple of turns, and becomes useful again in the late game, when you have enough mana.

This card is kinda weird, and I'm not talking about the flavor.

On the curve early, and gives some nice evasion later on. 2.7/5.

I'm curious why the ability doesn't use the word 'unblockable'. Are you telling me some people were actually struggling to interpret 'unblockable' as meaning 'cannot be blocked', and that this required a change? I know magic can be complicated for many, but jeeze...

Unblockable was changed to "can't be blocked" for consitency. There are multiple forms of "can't be blocked". Yes, there was the pure unblockable. But there's also intimidate, which is essentially "unblockable except if attempted to be blocked by an artifact creature or creature of the same color". "can't be blocked except by..." is cleaner. This also lines up with "can't be blocked except by walls" instead of "unblockable unless attempted to be blocked by a wals".
Also, you're late to the complaint party. This was change was done in M14

Although you're right that this guy isn't constructed playable, you're wrong in the evaluation. Mana activations are awesome in an aggressive deck, in that they give you something to do after you've emptied out your hand. If the overall environment were less aggressive, 3 mana for 3 power would be awesome on a creature that stays relevant into the late game.
As far as limited, that actually isn't how I would treat this guy. Stonefare Crocodile was awesome in Golgari because if you scavenged onto him, he was impossible to race and difficult to block. I would put forth that the best use for the Agent here is actually to enchant this guy once or twice then hold onto your cards and force them to answer him. He's not a late game mana sink, your cards in hand are.

I was delighted when I saw this. Not because of the card, it is pretty terrible, but it ties the {G}{B} Horizon Chimera, and possible Horizon Scholar to Kruphix. I am betting on a {G}{B} planeswalker in the next 2 sets, something we have never had.
The wording switch was back in M14 Can't be blocked is now no longer an ability, it's 'just a phrase'. The same thing happened to indestructible, it is now a keyword meaning that something such as Turn will indeed get rid of indestructible, but not "Can't be blocked".

I've found that in limited if you're winning he will ensure victory. If you're loosing... well, he's not the best to have around.
