I would rather play Alive and Well, simply because it's more reliable. Your opponent might be playing burn, who knows?

Potentially useful given all the tokens running around in the current Standard.

Oh hey, it's the Urza Block throwback for the set. Seems to be a pattern emerging after Rewind.

Nice answer to Ajani's cat filled ultimate.

The art is alright, but I think that they should print new art when they reprint cards into a new set.

@Purplerooster:

Nice card to play before popping Ajani's ultimate. :P

A guy I played this in a match against me at the pre-release today. I had whittled him down to a few life and suddenly he was at 19 again. :| While I still won, it extended the game by probably ten minutes, we landed in extra rounds, and the match ended a draw. Without it, there would have been time for a third game and a possible victory for me.

It's insane in multiplayer, but that is about it. This card is pretty much useless in Standard.

Cool to see something for multiplayer political play in m14. I like it.

Unless I am completely missing your point NuclearRainboom, how is Alive//Well "more reliable". Well is 2 lofe per creature YOU controll, this is 2 life for every creature. So either way you will gain the same amount of life if your oppenent has zero dudes. If anything this stands to gain you more life....

I weaponized this with Sanguine Bond. It can hit hard enough to end the game.

I cast this once in a 20+ player game. Needless to say, I got quite a bit of use out of the various circles of protection I had at the time.

Not an answer, would only extend the game for 1 turn. This is why lifegain sucks on its own.

The one saving grace of this card as that it was so old, most of my friends were two "young" or had forgotten about it. Thanks for reprinting this multiplayer abomination wizards.
