Glad they kept the original art. Fusan coming back (from the M12 card Time Reversal) is a nice touch too.

This + Azorius Charm will make an annoying Standard.

Nowhere near as irritating as Azorius Charm.

Thank God.

This card is the reason why blue fliers will be a powerhouse in draft

Decent removal if you have a tempo deck in limited.

Got three of this and an elite arcanist in sealed. suffice it to say, my opponents werer not pleased at being stuck on turn 5.

@Bufzar They should have been even more displeased at not being able to read Arcanist which can only copy instants.

Also, this is the only good art this artist has done, practically.

4/5 for me. Really good removal, and it slow down the tempo also.

Ignoring tempo-style removal, great fun in any sort of mil deck for more permanent removal, too. Especially with those cantrip {U} mil sources around.

I can see Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver behind that black background..

People are sort of silly. In the comments of every version of this card there are people saying: "play this with mill, then it's good removal". The problem with that idea is that then you don't get to time-walk people left and right with this.

Trust me when I say that fighting this effect is absurdly difficult when it comes in multiples. Imagine a deck with something like the following:
4x Remand
4x Memory Lapse
4x Time Ebb
4x Temporal Spring

along with some efficient green beaters. Starting (consistently) on turn 2 you start getting stuff thrown back on top of your library. You very quickly begin missing land-drops because you can't draw new cards. All the while you're getting beat to death and all your stuff is getting countered or removed.

This effect is more than just tempo - your opponent skips their next draw and you have knowledge of their future lines of play. Which is a pretty big deal when you're playing blue.

The only time this effect is bad is when you have to shoot it at something like Mulldrifter or Flametongue Kavu. And even then it still gains you some tempo.

To be fair, though, the sorcery-speed does hurt. And the CMC 4 of the comparable Griptide is a bit too high. All in all, this is a solid but balanced card.

Can this card target something in a graveyard????

This card offers a giant tempo advantage. Best to be used with some early beaters.

@NiKMi9 I don't think so- as "target creature", to the best of my knowledge, really means "target creature permanent" and permanents are only found on the battlefield. everything else is just a spell. but you should probably ask a real judge
