I like Fog Bank better.

This one's not Boltable, though, so I say it's still a good enough card on its own merit.

Also, colorshifted Angelic Wall!

No reason for this to have Defender. Kraken Hatchling is a 0/4 for Blue without Defender after all.

I like that this was printed in the same set as Clear a Path. "Murmur, murmur murmur..." "What?" "Murmurrmur..." "Oh, for the love of... (scraBOOM) Much better."

It's got defender because of things like Axebane Guardian and Doorkeeper. It's a small theme throughout the block.

This is a card alright. I would reckon its pretty good at blocking things.

Between this and Maw of the Obzedat, DMG apparently has a mini-theme of creeping me the f*** out.

Yeah Lazav, that's what they said about Wizard's addictive ink.

Flavor text refers to 3/4 of the Internet.

Also, absolutely skin-crawling art.

wonder what it looks like holographic.

Unless you're playing Spirits Wall of Deceit is probably preferable.

This freaky fellow will be great for spirit tribal.

0 power creatures are great against Boros Reckoner as well.

They whisper of things you've forgotten.

Murmuring Phantasm has some of my favorite art in DM. It will get the job done in limited and will be able to be supported in casual because of its spirit creature type. Sure there are better walls out there, but how many mouths do those others have?

With Doorkeeper in the same block, this is trashy. But I'm ok with it in limited, setting up a solid azorious defense until I chump them to death or pull out some fatties.

Lifetime television? No!

Wicked art-work and concept. For a 2-drop why not?

there are better walls for constructed, but this is a must for every dimir/izzet deck in limited that needs more early defence.

@Hercynian: This card looks amazing as a holographic...probably one of the prettiest of the set, in my opinion. Phantoms and Phantasms always look amazing!

I like to imagine they're all yelling in a really boring voice.
"Aaaaaaaaaahhh."

Doorkeeper/Phenax deck says hello. This is a solid choice, in fact one of the best choices, for that deck. Other than that, it's terrible.
