Fail for not including 4 in the deck, but whatcha gonna do. :P At least it's in here. Most obvious prediction since "Lightning Bolt" for PDS Fire and Lightning, lol.

They reprinted this? Sweet, now I can actually get my hands on some.

That, and Terminate, Blightning, and all the other goodies they decided to reprint.

This card is really powerful. I'm using it in my peasant modern deck that is centered around worm harvest and raven's crime. This card fixes my hand really well, and allows me to load up my graveyard quickly.

It is also extremely abusable with dredge. In my sideboard, I have 4 golgari brownscales to use against really fast decks. Gain 4 life and mill 4 for 1 mana, and it has flashback. Absolutely amazing.

Cards like this are card disadvantage, but they give card-quality advantage and allow you to run less lands in your deck. Drop this the turn you'd miss your land drop and you won't be unhappy. Also, drop those extra lands to this so you can keep playing the game.

Lord knows how many games I've lost to drawing an extra 3 lands when I needed something else..

This card works so damned well with Pyromancer Ascension. It just adds a ton of consistency and options for really cheap. lets you filter your hand and load up your graveyard with copies of spells to get Ascension online. To top it off, casting flashback spells will put a counter on Ascension if you have another copy of the spell in the graveyard as it resolves! Run with Think Twice and Desperate Ravings... and a lot of burn, of course.
