This was very balanced to the power/mana cost ratio of the day, but it's been outclassed now by Dodecapod, Transguild Courier, and the suddenly mighty Cathodion.

Good flavor text at least.

Oooo, shiny....
It's the only artifact that has any sort of phasing, for the record. I think that's a shame. They should have brought the ability back on a colorless card during Time Spiral. Maybe an equipment card that granted Phasing and Rampage: 5; That would have been hilarious.

You miss the whole point. This creature is immune to opponents sorceries and auras. No Fireball or Pacifism to this guy. That also means that he won't be helping your blocking, but who blocks.
If I remember correctly, phasing triggers "leaves play" abilities, but not "comes into play" abilities. So, this card would be bad azz if comboed with another card that triggers when creatures you control leave play, since it leaves play every turn with no additional cost.
Not gonna bother to find cards that combo with it tho.

A clever twist on phasing, this guy can actually attack every turn.

@nirvava: It doesn't, but it used to.

Well, it's an interesting phasing card. Fairly balanced for colored casting cost. I like it. Shame it can't block.

"The Golem's Wish"? I thought it was the king's wish and the golem wasn't made yet?

Also, that's a pretty cool picture.
