This reduces your hand by more per the rest of the card than either Thought Nibbler or Thought Devourer - but maybe a 2/2 flier for 2 is more dangerous than either a 1/1 flier for 1 or a 4/4 flier for 4. Either way, it didn't see as much play as its siblings in my recollection.

Replicate & Donate so your opponent can't hold cards? I dunno, seems pretty terrible. I'd rather have Storm Crow.

This was not the way we hit threshold. careful study was the way we hit threshold. Silly WotC, what does this card even do?

Not very good, i can't see a use for this that many other cards do better. maybe if it was in a different color, but even then it would still be harsh early game and underpowered when peoples hands had been depleted. Maybe if it was black for hellbent? Idk, this card is probably worth less then the air it displaces.

Well if you think about this, there's no real drawback here. Say you have a one drop/spell you use. You'll go through 4 cards when this comes out. You'll draw a card, presumably play a land, then probably another spell. The only way it hurts you is if you have extra draw cards that draw more than you can use in a turn.

The biggest issue is if you run into multiples. In the right deck? 3.5/5.

Remember, it IS a 2/2 flier for 2.

@BastianQoU
You could have linked to Undercity Reaches. (A bit of a loophole, I know.)

@BastianQoU Tamiyo's -8 works. Its not all that easy to pull off, being a PW ultimate, but then neither is Praetor's Counsel.

I like to play this card with my commander Zedruu the Greathearted
