Flash them in to block a Griffin Protector and make them live up to their flavor text. Alternatively, flash them in to pump up your own griffin!

I remember Lorwyn.

You think you're fooling everyone else with those cute smiles. Not me.

DIE FAERIES! DIE! DIE IN A HOLE!

-_- <does not trust faeries

This is not bad, I'm surprised it is 3/3 and not 2/3 or something less.

How is this at less than 3/5? This is probably the best nonrare blue creature in M13. I always draft these if I'm playing blue and they've won me games numerous times.

I've won with these, if you're downrating them you're not playing them (or against them).

This was made to fill the void of Chasm Drake from 2012.

Same cost, same colour, same p/t, same flying. It just took the "someone else gets flying" ability and gave it flash. And a decent tribal.

Forgetting the tribal business, I'd say it's an interesting counterpart. Chasm forced you to attack with it to use its ability to the fullest, while this can be some very surprising buttsecks.

On the other hand, making your big creature a flyer, like Stampeding Rhino, is friggin' sweet.

It's the difference between a defensive 3/3 flyer and an offensive 3/3 flyer. Are they equal? Close enough.

Very solid in a Faerie Tribal deck- deceptively powerful, and if you get a playset they'll form the bulkiest forces in your army. 5/5
