you are forgetting that unless you are playing mono-white, divinity of pride and nobilis of war cant be in the same deck

Combine with reckless assault. Gives you a healthy 4 life each turn that you can turn into damage when needed.
@ darkfury You have to play mono-white to play divinity of pride and nobilis of war in the same deck? It seems that you assume, that you can have only one type of basic lands in your deck, or something like that.
re:dega sanctuary + reckless assault - oh man, this is fun! how about ana sanctuary + urbog drake? no wait, vedalken ghoul!
seriously now, these sanctuaries are probably best with hybrid cards... mmm, and transguild courier

hmm, anyone foresee these growing slightly in price after the Commander decks come out? They are one of the few applicable wedge cards, and the blue wedge card is not even close to bad. 4 ajani's mantras stapled together isn't that bad.

The worst of the cycle. Still not bad, though.

darkfury seems to be trying to make what might be a good point, but unclearly-
Tell me, how many of you are here because Kaalia is a WBR creature, and you are looking for cards for Commander? I do not know all the rules about Color Identiy and hybrid, though, so darkfury might be wrong even for Commander.
Besides that, a deck other than mono-white would have a very difficult time making Divinity of Pride and Nobilis of War work. they are strong cards, so I assume you'd like to draw them. Let's say you have 4 of each- that's 8 cards out of 60, which is a good percentage of your deck. Even though Dual Lands can make it a lot easier, I wouldn't be surprised to see the decklist that includes 4x Nobilis and 4x Divinity looking very close to mono-white.
It would probably even run Armored Ascension (which you might remember came from the same 4-part block as those creatures, so it would a card you'd be quick to think of if you were already considering the Spirit Avatars)
While it is certainly legal to put those cards in a non-mono white deck, it would be so difficult to build compared to how simple an All White deck version would be, that I think darkfury's post deserves a couple more stars. at least 3.

Normally I'm pretty forgiving with mediocre cards, but I'm sorry, just can't see a use for this. It's not even interesting bad, it's just straight up BAD bad. Nothing noteworthy about it. At its maximum possible output, it gives you 4 life a turn and nothing else. There are many, many cards that can do much better, and even those cards aren't worth mentioning.

One of my favorite arts in the game because it's elegant and well done, plus it exactly represents the card in a way that isn't ham-fisted.

What makes this card great is that it complements the weaknesses of the suicidal colors it supports. Your black and red cards will be hurting your opponent more than they will be hurting you. In addition it's practically destined to be paired with Angelic Accord for a free 4/4 flying angel every turn.
