Well, s'not too bad for draft, really, and the fact that the artifact destruction is optional is nice.

Meh, somewhat playable in limited, but blows eveywhere else. The stats are just too crappy.

It's a shame that Scars is rotating out because this would of been killer for standard. It will still be used by many pros like me in legacy, though.

Maying to do things is always nicer than having to do things. Still, I think we'll all miss our Manic Vandals. Good in Limited, etc. etc...

Both Indrik Stomphowler and Ingot Chewer are better than this. Acceptable red beater, not too many interesting targets for it though.

Underwhelming, but still not terrible.
Too expensive for any serious format, which is often the drawback of sticking a nice ability on a needlessly large creature. Still, considering how many utterly horrible red creatures have appeared over the years at around 5 casting cost, this thing isn't bad.
Could've at least been a more interesting tribe, if only to give it a slight edge in some decks. Pretty certain Beasts already have something similar.

1/5. A 4/3 body for cmc of 5. Its good in draft for its ETB ability to take out a pesky artifact but not much else. In competitive constructed its only a sideboard option if that.

@Jake1991: Pros don't like him in legacy, or in any other format.

Not a pro card, but it's not all bad. Obviously loses out to Stomphowler if you're running green. With artifact creatures on the board this can swing the advantage quite a bit. . .or might take out other artifacts of course. My battalion Boros take one along as they need as many bodies as they can get, even when performing utility.

Love the flavour text, lol. Not a great card. Wish it had been artifact or enchantment.. so it could have destroyed the rarely used Tin Street Market for an awesome flavour match-up! Colour pie limitations not permitting this... Haste or Trample would have been good and fit the flavour!

Designed expressly for limited, even though there aren't many artifacts in this limited environment. It's also a very stupid card in terms of flavor. So it smashes buildings but just the one artifact gets broken? Hmm, sure.
