Carnage wurm was awful in limited! M12 was so aggressive!

4/4 for 6? Awful! 8/8 for 6? Now that's something. It's situational, but when played right, god damn. Watch out.

4/4 for 6 with trample is playable in limited. 8/8 for 6 with trample is sweet in limited!

I like how this fits into the tempo of the game. I see a late board position with an all in swing. A lot hits the bin. The counter attack doesn't look fatal, but it looks like we'll be top decking to finish this. Then I drop this bad boy. We're still top decking, but I don't lose if I draw a land.

This guy will generally end the game for you a turn or two after you drop him, in a draft.
The rest wasn't as synergistic, but things like Lambholt Elder and Ghoul Tree forced the enemy to block, thus turning on Morbid. Demonmail Hauberk finally made a good impression on me, as it helped to turn on Morbid AND make my Undiers stronger. The deck came together beautifully, but 3/4 of my games ended in Gravetiller trampling over everything. The deck was strong to begin with- but I think I owe the entire night to Gravetiller and Young Wolf. Went undefeated all night, and was inspired to make it a constructed deck. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS CARD. Should be a high pick in limited.
Very nice for only six mana, but in the long run, if you have nothing to trigger morbid, your opponent figures you out and it gets hard to play it as an 8/8. Definetely a first pick for most drafts, though.

I haven't played either, but it seems that this guy would be better than his Type 2 counterpart, if only because, given the creatures' colors and given the T2 environment, it seems that Morbid would be much easier to activate at will than would Bloodthirst. Notice that Gravetiller was released 2nd among the two.

Works great with green sac spells, most notably Dawntreader Elk.

More splashable Terra Stomper. Yeah I can see this guy being really nasty in limited. He might even see play in sacrifice heavy multicolor decks.

+ Heartless Summoning; 11/11 trampler for 4 CMC.
This works if you have nothing else, or in limited.
