Falkenrath Aristocrat? What are you doing on Ravnica?

Why doesn't she have haste or cost 5 mana?

This is secretly a planewalker. How else could an Innistrad vampire make it to Ravnica.

"Oh, it's another vampire with that ability. It's cool and all but that seems a little too typical of Innistrad, so it's out of place here OH MY GAHH."

This and Falkenrath Aristocrat are ALSO doing a slow motion running hug thing.

But this time with flight!

I don't see her saying that to Jarad's face.

She may be an undead bloodsucker, but she's still capable of delivering sick burns to guildmasters. That price may be tricky to pull off though in a multicolored deck.

The healing is not equal to the hurting!! This card is interesting and while not necessarily a total bomb on its own, even one turn with it out and a few attackers makes it insanely damaging.

She'll be great in Commander. I want her for my ninja commander deck. She does belong in Innistrad tho lol. Perhaps being in the same cycle as Mirrodin made her too powerful? Her with Ichorclaw Myr out would be pretty scary.

Are you folks realizing it's not putting ONE +1/+1 counter on each creature that deals combat damage, but a +1/+1 counter for EACH POINT OF COMBAT DAMAGE?!
I'm not saying this card is bonkers, but you all seem very underwhelmed with a card that is scary the turn it drops.

I laugh at the silly non-pros who don't realize how powerful this card really is. This chick doubles all of your creatures power and toughness every time they damage a player. Pros like me will dominate with this while you non-pros whine and complain about it not being interesting.

This is taking a very red vampire mechanic and making it extremely black. I'm not sure I like that. Black vampires are mostly lifelink, red are +1/+1 counters.

Well this should be wacky in Skullbriar EDH

Its funny how all these mythics that were supposed to show up in innestrad popped up here instead. It's like they didn't have enough room in the set or something. (Worldpsine Wurm came from innestrad too)

They really ought to just save them for the next time they pop back to the proper plane, in 6 or so years from now rather than just going "oh man here's a spot we need something to fill, what couldn't we push into last set?"

Had a quick question about her and "Corpsejack Menace", if both are on my side and fightinf in a combat, and she gets bloced by a deathtouch and my corpsejack goes though, does my Corpsejack get +1/+1 x8 or none at all?

Also, i got both in the prerelase, she was a total monster, every game she came out the other scooped XD

@Duriele:

Corpsejack's damage will go through at the same time that she takes her damage and dies, which means her ability will still trigger and you will indeed be the proud owner of a 12/12 corpsejack menace.

Love this card in vampire decks. Markov Blademaster? If she goes through even ONCE with this on the field, your 1/1 double strike just shot up to a 7/7 double strike. 5/5

This plus a Szadek, Lord of Secrets = pain and humiliation.

In my Olivia Voldaren EDH deck, this thing is an absolute BEAST.
I played a few casual games, and won every game with Necropolis Regent / Tainted Strike.
Not exactly kitchen-table friendly, but tainted strike just loves Necropolis Regent!

This only really wins games that you've already got a solid footing in. Since I tend to lose games quite a lot, I chose Grave Betrayal over this.

4/5. A bomb in limited. This could be broken in constructed with the right deck.

I play a black/white with a splash of red, and my favorite thing to do with this card is combine it with Gisela, blade of goldnight. It gets real ugly for your opponent real fast.

Double everything every turn! And I first rated this a 6/5. Then, after my 3rd hit, my rating became a 48/47!

This is one of the biggest bombs in my R/B deck. Even if I don't get to use her effect, she draws every removal spell my friends have and leaves me free to play other fatties. If I do get to swing with her, its game over pretty quickly.
igniteice
☆☆☆☆☆ (0.0/5.0)
Half the people commenting on this card being mediocre have probably never played with it. First time it swings it hits for 6 and turns into a 12/11. Second time it hits for 12 and turns into a 24/23. And it affects all of your creatures, not just itself.

This wins the game by itself in three attacks in edh, two in standard. It's quite quick, but it needs to be protected.

I run one in a Sheoldred EDH deck. It works very well there. In standard, it's just not very efficient. You're better off with Desecration Demon if you need a black fatty.

I could see her in standard, I'm not even kidding. As both Innistrad and M13 leave, we have a way slower format and she doesn't die to Doom Blade. Esper obviously has better finishers, but maybe Grixis...?

Anyway, she's way better than Lord of the Void.

Innistrad Vampires: "Well, our ability was great and all, so....let's just share it with everyone!!!"

Really funny in Jund decks where you use Ghor Clan Rampager or trample.

Can someone explain the flavor to me?

Aw, she's so tsundere. You know she and Jarad make a cute couple.

Its got some wonderful synergy with Innistrad vampires but lets not forget its potential in standard either. She could work wonderfully with Golgari, scavenging onto a creature so then when it hits it will get even bigger, or with Dimir which has lots of ways to make things unblockable. Heck, its just another card that makes Tormented Soul that much scarier.

I run this in a relatively casual edh ninja deck and BOY HOWDY does it do work.

For Ninja-related reasons I have ALL the evasion, especially unblockable, and this card is just gravy.

Invisible Stalker becomes a hexproof Primordial Hydra. Ink Eyes, Servant of Oni and Silent-Blade Oni become scary fatties when they ninjutsu in, in addition to the horrible things they do to people anyways, and then they just start get bigger from there.

+ corpsejack menace
raptorman333

@inkfactory: that doesn't work because Szadek, Lord of Secrets never actually deals damage, that act is replaced by putting counters on him.

What a boring card. It does one thing that's been seen before. Perhaps not in this particular iteration where it affects all your creatures, but it's a pretty tired mechanic to put on a MYTHIC.
Mythics should be something that actually makes you think, they should be flavorful, and they should leave you in awe for a few seconds because it's such an interesting and original warping of the game! At least there's Rakdos as consolation in this set.
And I love how negative comments get consistently low ratings even if they're true.
In summary, it's definitely Mythic power level but it fails the spirit of the rarity.

Simply by existing, this girl makes Vorosh a very sad dragon.

I just pulled this lovely lady in tandem with Heirs of Stromkirk vs. a Blue/White deck with no artifact creatures in play-the Heirs helped themselves to a refreshing abattoir steroid Slurpee.

I would take her to the ice cream social or the local sock hop.
