snow covered pestilence. certainly better than 2/5 stars.

This is better than Pestilence because it is cheaper. How hard is it to play snow swamps, seriously?

This plus Urza's Armor = mean. Especially if the only creature you have in play is a Stuffy Doll.

So much better than pestilence and its time-shifted counterpart. It costs 1 mana less and snow-covered lands is not a problem, deserves 5/5. What the hell are these voters thinking?

Customizable, repeatable board-wiping? And killer artwork? Are you people insane?

you can, however, use pestilence with nonbasic lands and mana artifacts... hmm...

I have noticed that there are a lot of snow lands being played in EDH. This is a card really worth looking at in a mono-black EDH deck when trying to find good consistent removal.

Try Fungusaur with this. The way 8th edition change on Fungusaur work this will never kill it.

I don't think it's better than Pestilence. It forces you to play pretty much mono-black, unless...

My God.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

Okay, still forces you to play basic lands pretty much exclusively, I think the cards that give permanents the snow supertype (Rimefeather Owl, Rimescale Dragon) are all too expensive.
