Probably one of the few useful combos with this is to include it with an unlimited mana combo such as Ashnod's Altar, Farrelite Priest, Enduring Renewal and any 1 mana white creature. Run the mana combo to get some mana, activate the Talismen to untap something of yours like an Icy Manipulator. Overall, a challenging combo considering it requires so many pieces but it's probably the easiest of the talismens to actually use in a combo since it shares Enduring Renewal's color. Overall, I think it's a 1/5 card.

Nude Burn Victim Renee Zelweger harnesses the power of the Nacre Talisman.
White weenie creatures and one cost spells (removal and creature salvation) are abundant. If you build a deck around weenies with tap abilities and an artifact or two this really isn't that bad. You may even be able to activate it twice in a turn. And it isn't neutralized by being tapped.

Really though. I think she is escaping her shackles by becoming immaterial through this desert stone that she knows how to access the magic power of. That's my best guess for the flavor of this card. It lets creatures rematerialize out of whatever sticky wicket they have gotten themselves into.
