I use this card to *** off my friends when we play multiplayer. Works really well with Humility and Living Plane. It is always fun to wipe out just about every permenent that they own, then play a Remove Enchantments card. Now they have no defence from your creatures.

Pretty sure it means desert wind or something like that.
I was wondering what the name means and so I looked it up. Wikipedia told me that a simoon is some kind of hot and dry desert wind and that makes perfekt sense. Then I saw how the german version of this card is named and it's Sifaka. "What's a Sifaka" I asked Wikipedia... Well, look it up in Wiki for yourelf (it's also Sifaka in english) and you'll see that the word Sifaka means something totally different, something, which is shown on the visions art of this card.
Electrickery can't be put on a stick to constantly ward off tokens, but it is generally better, yes. Generally, not always.

Simoon: "A strong, hot, sand-laden wind of the Sahara and Arabian deserts" About the card, I'm surprised how highly rated it is. I think it's about a 3/5.
