It's not a bad card (in Limited, obviously, not Standard). There's a slew of 1-butt creatures and weakening a bigger dude isn't a bad deal either. 2/4 makes for a decently sized wall as well.

Sort of boring and bad. It's potentially 5cmc for a 2/4 that applies one -1/-1. It could also be the 4cmc and 2 health.
I don't think he's quite first pick, but he's definitely up there. He just flat-out stalls like none other. Even if he doesn't kill his target, it can't be big enough to get through him on turn 4, and if he does, epic two-for-one. Probably third is when you're going to end up taking him, but feel free to take him earlier than that.

That said the art of this whole card works so well, it looks so nice on that black bordered artifact. I always did like the card design of colored artifacts.

Skinrender is a 4cmc 3/3 that applies 3 -1/-1's.
If anything, the art is great.
That said the art of this whole card works so well, it looks so nice on that black bordered artifact. I always did like the card design of colored artifacts.
