This cycle of cards is so awesome! So is this guy, reminds me of Deathspore Thallid, and his art is so epic just like.

*Throws the slave at the guy* "Damn he Giant Growthed oh well if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself!"

All kidding aside he is very powerful a 4/4 for 5 in black is alright (almost like a 5/5 if needed) and the -4/-4, not a lot of creatures survive that.

Not much in the deck to abuse him with, he's in it for flavor. However, yeah, he can help your gargantua through in the endgame

Man, I want this in my sacrifice deck, he will work wonders. In the phyrexia deck, he does not reach his full potential.

Sudden Death with what is (for Black) a chunky body. I'll take that. It's worth 5 stars just for the flavor of the cycle.

I run two of these in my sacrifice deck, and I get them out as soon as possible. This and any kind of creature generator or recurring creature have dug me out of some very deep holes.

I love the flavor text on this vertical cycle (see Denouncer, Debaser, and Defiler). It's just so twisted :)
