yeah i like the art, but im not sure about the card. paying for two naturalizes for one and a cantrip? i dont think so.

I was thinking the same thing, Colossus. We had Naturalize in RotE and M11; why pay twice the cost just so you can draw a card?
It's not too bad, but it'd be much better if it was either 2G or 1GG, maybe GG.

Not sure about running this card by itself, but possibily running this alongside with Naturalize might be a good idea considering this block. Green has no problems getting 4 mana, and removing an artifact OR enchantment, while drawing a card, seems pretty good.

zarakstan: that is TOTALLY the same creature. That said, how do you cut an enchantment? Clearly in twain, but still.

very unimpressive. however, if i was making a deck based solely on resplendent artwork this would be included alongside guttural response.

Great card for slow decks. I'd probably still use mystic melting though even though it's a slowtrip, because easier to splash. But most important I like the art on the melting more.

Should probably cost {1}{G}{G}. The art and the flavor text are awesome. 4/5

I dunno about you guys, but I heard drawing a card is better than not drawing a card =/
Im willing to spend the extra mana to get more value. In standard, I don't know if you generally need to answer their artifacts turns 1-3. The only artifact based decks this really doesn't work against is quest for the holy relic into argentum armor decks.

Mana cost makes it unplayable in constructed, but i bet green players gonna be more than happy to have it in limited.

How are so many people flaming this? Having removal at instant speed with a choice between permenant type all without costing you a card? At least 4/5.

I love this card in limited. It's artifact, (artifact) creature, and enchantment removal that cantrips. On a world made mostly of metal, artifact removal is of great value. Outside of limited, not so much. I'd rather just Naturalize or Nature's Claim the offending artifact or enchantment at a lower mana cost.

To Me Much Better Than Naturalize. Mainly Because Naturalize Is As Lame As Cancel

Can't argue with the costing of this card- adding a cantrip effect to a spell has traditionally costed 2 mana.
Good in limited since any artifact removal helps if you go up against the one poor soul who didn't go infect. Nice in EDH too since the extra 2 doesn't hurt as much and the extra card is handy. Too expensive and situational for serious constructed though, which is a shame.

I totally agree with Pwnsaw. Not to sound like a spoiled brat, but I don't think a mana cost of would've been any more horrible than some other stuff that has been printed recently.
Still, this card is awesome.

Now why didn't they show him slicing an enchantment in twain?
Oh yeah because that's a silly notion...

Nice for four mana destroy an enchantment or artifact plus draw a card wich isnt much common for green.

Decided I was in the mood to do a random card comment today, so here it is. There's not much to say about this card other than that I love the flavor text. The whole "anti-artifact elves" thing is a bit forced - it might have been acceptible in the original Mirrodin, but they actually redoubled it in Scars, right when more interesting things involving Phyrexia were happening and would have better deserved discussion. Still, this is not one of the flavors I would wish to cut if I were reducing the "grr elf smash puny machines" theme; it's too perfect as-is, precisely referencing everything that is wrong not only with elves, but with any group of self-appointed crusaders who are blind to their own sins.

You know that card that you never seem to get no matter how many packs of the set you open? This card is that card for me.

The casting cost makes sense really. This is to Naturalize as Dismiss is to Counterspell. Well a little off, but still very close.

Really good with free copy effects. Nice spell on it's own. One of the more useful cantrips in green quite frankly, instant speed too. Just a sweet value spell I guess, nothing too flashy. Too bad it's priced outside of normal constructed, at 3 I think it has some real potential, I'd still play it at 4 in edh though.
