It may seen stupid because as 99% of people can tell, its a red card just from the background color, but unless they specifically write down on the card that it is a red creature, it would actually be considered colorless. Anything with a cost of 0 is colorless by default.

Wow these 0 mana creatures get buffed to +4/+5 with first strike and trample with Rohgahh of Kher Keep, Kobold Taskmaster, Kobold Overlord, and Kobold Drill Sergeant out, up to a max of +7/+8 with 4 Taskmasters and Sergeants out. And if you have Kher Keep out you'll be getting +4/+5 with first strike and trample for 2 mana each turn. Still a great cost :)

I love how it was printed along two other identical creatures (Crimson Kobolds and Crookshank Kobolds) right in the same set. Was that before or after the four of a creature in a deck rule? Of course then they also made Rohgahh of Kher Keep which only gave its bonus to this specific card. That makes Kobolds of Kher keep technically superior to its two identical brethren.

Terrible art, very meh even with associated cards that power it up, and by the time you get enough of these dropped or enough power-up cards, your opponent has usually wiped the floor with you...but it still gives me tingles of nostalgia.
